Korean consumers rated it like this!!

Okay, so I recently got my hands on the VDL Coverstay Perfecting Foundation, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for my everyday makeup routine here in Korea!
I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I'm seriously impressed.
First off, the coverage is fantastic.
It's not one of those heavy, cakey foundations that feel like you're wearing a mask.
Instead, it's surprisingly lightweight, but it still manages to cover up all my little imperfections – redness, blemishes, and even some old acne scars.
It gives me this really smooth, flawless finish that looks super natural.
I've got combination skin, so I tend to get oily in my T-zone, especially during the warmer months.
But this foundation holds up really well!
It doesn't slide off or get patchy, which is a huge plus.
I usually set it with a light dusting of powder, and it lasts pretty much all day.
I've worn it to work, out with friends, and even on longer days, and it still looks good by the time I get home.
The shade I got (I think it's A02, but I'd have to double-check) blends in really nicely with my skin tone, which can sometimes be a struggle with Korean foundations.
It doesn't look too pink or too yellow, just a perfect match.
I also love how it doesn't cling to any dry patches, even when my skin is feeling a bit dehydrated.
It just smooths everything out beautifully.
The finish is kind of a satin-matte, which I think is perfect for most people.
It's not super dewy, but it's not completely flat either.
It gives my skin a healthy glow without looking greasy.
I've tried it with different primers, and it works well with most of them.
I've also noticed that it doesn't oxidize throughout the day, which is something I've experienced with other foundations.
The color stays true from the moment I apply it until I take it off.
And the packaging is pretty sleek too!
The bottle feels sturdy and looks nice on my vanity.
I haven't used the mini cushion that came with the set as much, but it's a nice bonus for touch-ups on the go.
Overall, I'm really happy with this foundation.
It's become my go-to for achieving that

Products that go well together

To really elevate your base with the VDL Coverstay Perfecting Foundation, I highly recommend pairing it with a good primer and a setting spray.

Primer: Using a primer before the foundation is key for a flawless, long-lasting finish.
For oily or combination skin, a mattifying primer like the VDL Primer for Oily Skin (if available) or a similar product will help control shine and create a smooth canvas.
If you have dry or normal skin, a hydrating primer can add an extra boost of moisture and help the foundation glide on effortlessly, preventing any patchiness.
A primer creates a barrier between your skin and the foundation, which can help prevent clogged pores and make makeup removal easier.
It also helps to fill in pores and fine lines, giving you a smoother complexion for the foundation to adhere to.

Setting Spray: Once your foundation is applied and blended, a setting spray is your best friend for locking everything in place.
A good setting spray will not only extend the wear time of your foundation but also help to melt the product into your skin, removing any powdery finish and giving you a more natural, skin-like look.
For a dewy finish, opt for a hydrating setting spray.
If you prefer a more matte look, a mattifying setting spray can help keep oil at bay throughout the day.
It's like the final seal of approval for your makeup, ensuring it stays put through sweat, humidity, and whatever else your day throws at you.
Using these products together ensures your VDL Coverstay Perfecting Foundation looks impeccable from morning to night!
